Food planning is easier when you separate four things: what the group brings, what is ordered, what drinks are supplied and what alcohol is arranged separately. A yacht with a galley or BBQ grill does not automatically include lunch or a cook for your own ingredients.

1. Bring food or ask for an advance order

Under YachtSiam's current guidance, guests may bring prepared food, or request food preparation before the trip. Tell the contact which approach you want so the group does not arrive with both an unexpected catering order and a large amount of duplicate food.

For food you bring, confirm how it will be carried, stored and served on the chosen yacht. Ask about usable table space, plates and waste handling rather than assuming every boat has the same equipment.

2. Korean lunchboxes are an option, not a fixed included menu

Korean lunchboxes can be ordered in advance. A possible request is rice, bulgogi or chicken, and vegetable sides. This is a menu example, not a confirmed selection, portion size or price. A mild Thai or international-style meal can be discussed instead.

Send the number of meals, preferred serving time and budget for food separately from the boat budget. Mention dietary restrictions and allergies so the provider can say what is feasible; do not assume a special diet is available without confirmation. Confirm the actual menu and price before approving the order.

3. Supplied drinks and separate alcohol

A photo of a table with glasses or a yacht party does not establish which drinks are included in your booking.

  • Water and non-alcoholic drinks are prepared under the operator's guidance. Check the quantity and types for your selected yacht.
  • Alcohol is separate: prepare your own or arrange a purchase, with any supply cost confirmed beforehand.
  • If you want chilled drinks, ask about ice, cooling space and glasses. Do not assume unlimited ice or unlimited branded drinks.
  • Confirm where and when drinks can be served under the crew's operating instructions.

4. BBQ equipment is not the same as a BBQ meal

BLISS and Ocean Symphony list BBQ facilities in their current yacht information. Check the actual booked programme before ordering a BBQ meal. Equipment, ingredients, preparation and serving can be separate arrangements.

Do not treat the word BBQ on a yacht card as a free meat or seafood package. Request the menu, price, person responsible for preparation and serving time in the quotation.

5. Day-charter meals and the BLISS overnight package differ

A regular day charter does not inherit the meals of a separate overnight product. The current BLISS 24-hour package includes three meals for the booked guests: dinner on day one, breakfast and lunch on day two. Alcohol, extra meals and premium catering outside the agreed package remain separate.

For an overnight booking, ask whether a Korean lunchbox can replace a proposed lunch, and whether that changes the price. The listed meal examples are not a fixed promise of particular dishes.

6. Send one clear food request before the trip

Confirm the order, any changes and the payment arrangement in writing. Use the agreed meeting and drop-off instructions so food and the group arrive at the correct place.

The food policy was supplied by YachtSiam management on 14 October 2026; yacht and overnight examples were checked against the linked active products. Photos show actual yacht seating and service spaces, not a guaranteed meal package. YachtSiam is a booking agency, not the yacht owner.

  • Date, yacht and number of guests; distinguish meal portions from total guest count.
  • Bring your own, order lunchboxes or request another catering plan.
  • Food budget, desired serving time and confirmed menu preferences.
  • Alcohol plan, cooling or ice needs, and any dietary restrictions requiring confirmation.
