A common four-hour plan allows roughly one hour from Ocean Marina to the Monkey Island area, around two hours at anchor and about one hour for the return. Fishing is often enjoyed while the yacht is moving rather than as a separate long stop.
This timeline is an example under normal conditions. A faster yacht may arrive sooner, while wind, waves or a different anchoring point can reduce the time available on site. Guests who want several long activities should consider more than four hours.
Monkey Island: the practical four-hour choice
The Monkey Island area, also called Koh Ped, is the most practical destination for many short private charters. It leaves enough time for cruising, relaxing at anchor, taking photos and enjoying the yacht's own facilities. Fishing can usually be arranged on the way.
Banana boats, Jet Skis and similar marine sports may be available around the area, but they are operated separately and cost extra. Availability depends on local operators and sea conditions. Monkey Island should not be selected mainly for snorkeling because visibility is often inconsistent.
Koh Kham: better when snorkeling is the priority
Koh Kham generally offers a better snorkeling possibility than the Monkey Island area. The trade-off is extra cruising time. A six-hour charter is usually more practical, although selected yachts with a five-hour package may be able to discuss Koh Kham when speed, weather and departure time are suitable.
Do not assume that every five- or six-hour yacht automatically includes Koh Kham. If the group wants a relaxed meal, fishing and a long snorkeling stop, an eight-hour plan may be more comfortable.
Koh Larn: choose it for a specific island plan
Koh Larn can be included with a suitable yacht and enough time. It should not be treated as identical to a standard four-hour Monkey Island package. Travel time, anchoring points, traffic around the island and the requested activities affect the final plan.

A slide, floating pool, jacuzzi, kayak or paddle board can make a shorter anchoring stop more enjoyable. A yacht without those facilities may suit guests who prefer quiet cruising, fishing or a destination-focused plan. The listed maximum capacity also does not guarantee comfort.
